Critiquing Photo Challenge

My favorite photo from this challenge was the photo taken to fit the aesthetically evaluative category. This image was my favorite from this challenge because it shows the beauty of the University of Delaware campus. One of my favorite parts of the campus is seeing the cherry blossoms bloom every spring and being able to see the blooming trees along with the beautiful sunset makes this a special photo for me. The most challenging part of this assignment was making sure each photo fit into the category I was trying to shoot for as well as doing background research on the images I found online. In order to shoot stronger photos in the future I will make sure to choose the best lighting for each image to avoid any glare on my images.
Hi Maria! I love the photo you chose. It does a great job demonstrating an aesthetically evaluative photograph. The sunset colors are beautiful together and the reflection of light against the brick walkway heightens the color from the sunset. I really like the silhouette from the archways too. I wonder how the lighting would've changed the tones if taken from a different angle.
